Youth Ministry
Sunday School
Our Youth Ministry begins with our Sunday morning Sunday School. It includes the nursery and graded classes through high school age. We believe God’s Word should be taught in an exciting manner without compromising the message.
Youth Outreach
We are thrilled to launch this Wednesday Night Bible Club for boys and girls Age 3 through the 6th Grade. Our children and teens have great questions about life and God and we want to give them great answers. This curriculum will help them understand what to believe from God's Word and why.
Camp / Activities
Junior age, as well as the teens, also have the opportunity of attending a week of Bible Camp each summer. The philosophy and operations of each camp are carefully scrutinized to ensure consistency of the message and lifestyle as well as safety. In addition, the teens have regular social activities and outreach opportunities.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is conducted for the benefit of the church young people and is intended as an outreach to the community. Our 2009 VBS, "A Knight to Remember" originated from the Land of Meridia and featured "Mr. Phill" as our fearless leader. Children enjoyed nightly Bible lessons focused on how we can please God in the Kingdom; memorized Scripture; enjoyed giving offering to help feed hungry children around the world; and were entertained by a nightly skit performed by the MBC Teens. The week ended with a "Family Fun Night" that was enjoyed by all who attended. We were thrilled to receive the "First Place" award in the local Chisholm Trail Festival parade on July 4th.
